Neue Gabi
2021 | Concept for PopUp Bar
Over the past year I participated in an interim use bar project in a team of four. I contributed not only design work but also project planning, organisation, service and event organisation. „Neue Gabi“ was placed in historical quarter of a small town. The district was built after the second world war, to gather displaced families from Sudetendeutschland. The colours, illustrations and images of my design concept refer to the architecture and overall appereance of Neugablonz. We managed to take the characteristics of this town and their inhabitants into account and created a meeting point where old and young could gather. (oldest guest 95) Nostalgia and sustainability where a big part of our establishment, too. We refurbished all of our second-hand-furniture by ourselves.
